Cyborg Malkovich: Strife
I know you’re intently waiting for more news about CON AIR 2: THE EPILOGUE, but there are new developments with John Malkovich. I’ve put this story together from surveillance footage and eyewitness records.

This is what happened.

MALKOVICH: I know you’re here, English.
MALKOVICH: Show yourself, demon!

DARK CAGE: Ha ha haa. Hee. Ho.
DARK CAGE: I regret to inform you that my master is not currently present, chump.

MALKOVICH: What happened to “being already here”?
DARK CAGE: That phrase still applies.
DARK CAGE: His physical self is located “here”.
DARK CAGE: “Here”, however, is not located in our vicinity.
DARK CAGE: Nevertheless his will extends even to this extremely generic alleyway through me.

MALKOVICH: Well, that just makes you the next best thing.
MALKOVICH: After I’m done with you, I’ll move onto your master.
DARK CAGE: You may try.
DARK CAGE: Even if you would manage to destroy my vessel, my essence would rejoin him.
DARK CAGE: My death can only make Lord English stronger.

DARK CAGE: Besides, you’re overlooking something very important, buddy.

DARK CAGE: I’m just too fast for you.

DARK CAGE: Now perish!

DARK CAGE: You’re done now.

MALKOVICH: Not yet!

MALKOVICH: Dark Cage…
MALKOVICH: He is gone.
MALKOVICH: But I think my story ends here.
MALKOVICH: Nick, if you hear me…
MALKOVICH: You’re now our only hope.
MALKOVICH: Destroy Steve.
MALKOVICH: Banish Lord English.
MALKOVICH: Save the world.

Let us have a moment of silence for our noble protector, Cyborg Malkovich.

Follow for more updates on this dreadful chain of events. Thanks for reading. CON AIR 2: THE EPILOGUE in theaters 4th of April 2019, 24h streams on the 13th.

Though Dark is kind of part Doc, he has no omniscience, as that ability originated from the white cueball head. Speaking of superpowers, why did I give Dark Cage superspeed abilities? I have no idea. I think I just gave him a cool teleportation effect in the second panel and then extrapolated from that. Strange how Buscemi doesn’t gain that ability after Dark dies, though Dark claimed his power would return to his master. Maybe that was unique to him, or the one with the superspeed was actually post-Scratch Nick. Something to think about I guess.

Some of the art on this page was kind of rushed, because I had to quickly finish art for the rest of the pages before getting to work on [S] Ollywood Showdown. One major continuity error is clearly visible in the third-to-last panel where Dark Cage has no facial hair. Unless the explosion burned it off…? Could be why he's making that face. He's grieving.
