Interview: Oscar Isaac

It’s time for another interview from the stars of CON AIR 2: THE EPILOGUE. This time we have Oscar Isaac. We’re glad to have you here, Oscar.

Yeah, thanks. Um, this isn’t a good time for an interview. There’s something weird about this.

Your casting as Poe Dameron is also strange. What does a Star Wars character do in Homestuck, let alone Con Air?

John Egbert kinda brings me there. Look, I don’t want this. I shouldn’t be here right now.

What’s the problem?

I don’t feel safe here. It’s almost like I’m being watched.

There’s nobody else here.

That’s what worries me. It’s not you is it?

Me? What do you mean?

Nevermind.

Does this have something to do with the recent harassment allegations?

We shouldn’t talk about that. We shouldn’t talk about anything. When will this interview be publicized?

We’ll transcribe and published it as soon as possible after it’s over.

Oh god, oh shit, they’ll know I was here. Get out of the fucking way I’m outta here.

Uh, seems like our interviewee has left the studio running. Well, big thanks for Oscar Isaac for the interview? Thanks for reading. CON AIR 2: THE EPILOGUE in theaters 4th of April 2019, 24h streams on the 13th.

The only reason Oscar Isaac is in the story is that Poe Dameron’s name is so similar to Cameron Poe’s. The Oscar thing was just a lucky coincidence, one that clicked right after I knew what Lord Buscemi was after. Kind of even retroactively justifies why he’s in this mess anyway, not that anything here really needs any of that. But it’s just so satisfying when everything ties up so cleanly. Almost gives the impression that I know what I’m doing, which I absolutely don’t.
